The Evanston Pointers are a group of older Americans living in a retirement community who care deeply about the world in which they have lived all of their lives.
“We have worked as educators, lawyers, physicians, nurses, social workers, businessmen and women, engineers, in finance, management, and as CEOs. We have worked in the trades. We grew up in cities, small towns, on farms, and some come from other countries.
“We have raised children, our own and those of others.
“We are knowledgeable and still learning. Despite our differences, we know how to work together.”
