Rejecting SCIENCE???

Scott Pruitt, the administrator of the Environmental Protection Agency, has removed scientists from the EPA's Board of Scientific Counselors to be replaced by people who are opposed to regulation. President Trump nominated Jim Bridenstine, a Republican congressman from Oklahoma with no science or space background as the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) administrator.  He has also named Sam Clovis as the Agriculture Department's chief scientist. Clovis, former talk-radio host and blogger has labeled climate research "junk science."

Be Aware of The Unified Agenda!

From time to time we hear on the news that the Trump administration is eliminating regulations that have been put in place to protect citizens of various categories or the environment.  Some of these roll backs may indeed be necessary, however some may serve special interest groups, and some may be extremely harmful by putting our citizens in jeopardy of their health and well being.

What does Net Neutrality Mean for Me?

Comedian John Oliver recently gave a twenty-minute talk about the net neutrality issue on YouTube  where he explained it more fully and invited his listeners to support net neutrality by contacting the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) directly.  But since the FCC isn't known for simple explanations, Oliver made it a bit more easy for those of us who would like to weigh in.
